PC Replacement

There was an old joke that computers were obsolete before you got them installed. Today, this "joke" doesn't hold as much water as it used to. Nevertheless, your desktop and laptop assets age without care to budgets or your business. They grow old and slow and with each passing quarter threaten your business process by limiting your ability to "push the envelope" of speed. Worse yet, older machines break at much faster rate then ones of newer vintage, pressing companies of all stripes into a reactive response process to get things back to normal.

Did you know that for the average minimum wage worker, a slow machine conservatively costs your company $546 per year? That's huge, especially when you consider that most employees using a computing asset are compensated far higher than minimum wage. For the average hourly compensation of someone making $40K a year, that figure jumps to $2,080 a year. Per desktop, 2 hours lost a week. Not to mention lost documents, email, and time spent working with tech support.

Yes, computers are expensive, but not nearly as much as the cost of inaction. By allowing assets to age past a useful life, you are at best hurting your productivity. At worst, slow machines erode your image in front of your customer and you loose business.

So what do you do? First, pick up the phone and call RPMC. We've converted too many desktops to count at this point, and we can help you with the effort of migrating those assets to new machines. We'll then work with you to create an obsolence strategy to budget and replace these machines at proper intervals.
