DMADV Projects
Do you have a new product, service or process that you must create? Is there no real basis for comparison to current functions in your business?
DMADV Projects are similar to DMAIC projects - with one difference. In a DMAIC project (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) there is an existing process that needs improvement. In a DMADV project (Define, Measure, Analyze, Design and Verify) the product, service or process is brand new and requires a different set of tools that will ensure a best case scenario for your launch.
This technique, like all Six Sigma initiatives, is built on accurate measurement and thorough use of proven tools and processes that will guide your organization through the process of building a solid design.
